Hi everyone,
The season is approaching fast, and I am still waiting for many of our returning instructors to register on our site, PLEASE DO SO !!!. While you’re on the site take a look at our December training schedule.

Upcoming Events:
Ottawa Ski & Snowboard show this weekend at the EY center, maybe I will see some of you there.
The Open House will be on the Nov 6.
Our Academy General Meeting will be on Nov 12 at 10 AM. Please be prompt.

For those going to Tremblant for the CSIA convention or for CASI training.
As usual, Monna has arranged great deals on Accommodations for us. For more info send an e-mail request to the cage and the details will be sent to you.

The Autumn Leaves…

That’s right, they’re starting to fall. And that means its time for all new and returning instructors to get their act together and register for the upcoming season.

To that end, the Academy Website has been updated with the following forms for the upcoming season:

New Instructor Registration: For those people 15 years old and older that would like to find out more about joining the Camp Fortune Academy and earning money during the upcoming season.
Returning Instructor Form: For those people who have taught with the Academy during the past 10 years and would like to return to the fold.
December Training Document: Information for all new and returning instructors on the December 2016 training schedule.

Yup – we’re baaaaaaack for the 2016-17 Season

The snow season is not that far off, nobody panic! Enjoy the weather, but we do have to get the ball rolling and figure out who is planning on teaching. Some time in the near future (if you were a part of the school last season) you will be receiving an e-mail from the Academy .

When you receive this e-mail, please verify the your contact information is correct and make a note of your instructor number. If there are any mistakes and/or you have changed your contact info please let us know at the e-mail address below.

In addition, please let us know if you are planning to teach for the 2016-17 season.

Hello all,

The start of programs went very well, even though the weather was a challenge, over 70% of our pupils were here. I want to thank everyone for their individual efforts, its really you that makes the difference with our customers. It’s not easy to be out there in the rain for three starts a day, very impressive. I received feedback as to your enthusiasm and helpfulness out at the meeting areas.

Academy News – Dec 29, 15

Hello all,

Xmas programs going well , a big thank you to those that are participating in making it happen. Snow is finally here , snowmaking is producing and we can expect more terrain soon.
This coming weekend supervisors will be drafting our instructors into programs and creating their teams.
Lists with names and programs will be posted for the first day and supervisors will contact their crew via email the week prior to the program starting.
If you have friends not getting emails, tell them to go to our webpage and FOLLOW the blog.

Congratulations to all our new Level 1 instructors, glad to have you join the team.
