Voici les nominations pour les Prix de l’École de glisse, j’espère voir une bonne participation le 26 avril. C’est toujours amusant de dévoiler les gagnants et de remettre les Mugs. Il va sans dire que tous nos moniteurs sont importants et très appréciés.
Cette saison a été très bonne du point de vue de la dotation en personnel. Beaucoup de nouveaux visages qui s’intéressent à l’enseignement, je dois dire que je suis très impressionné par la nouvelle vague d’instructeurs.

Nous serons ouverts tous les jours jusqu’au 30 mars et réduirons les jours jusqu’en avril, beaucoup de ski / planche à faire cette saison.

Here are the nominations for the Snow School Awards, I hope to see a good turnout on the 26th of April. Its always fun to unveil the winners and hand over the mug. It goes without saying, that all our people are important and very much appreciated.

This season has been very good from the perspective of staffing. Lots of new faces with an interest in teaching, I must say I am very impressed with the new wave of instructors.

We will be open daily until March 30^th and reducing days into April, lots of skiing/ riding to be had this season.

Nous voici au premier jour du printemps, le temps passe vite. La station rouvrira vendredi matin. Ceux qui ont fini d’enseigner, je vous demande de trouver le temps de rendre vos manteaux. Nous avons beaucoup de neige et le temps doux rend le ski / snowboard de printemps formidable. C’est le moment de faire du millage. La salle des moniteurs est ouverte de 9h à 16h.
Je vais envoyer la liste des nominations pour nos prix, n’oubliez pas que nous le ferons le 26 avril entre 16h30 et 18h30. Les anciens moniteur et les parents sont les bienvenus. . Je pense que nous devrions avoir un bon #s pour célébrer notre saison.

Here we are on the first day of spring, time does fly. The hill will reopen Friday morning. Those that are done teaching, I ask that you find the time to return your coats. We have lots of snow and the mild weather makes for some great spring skiing / riding. Now is the time to put in some mileage. Pro room is open 9 to 4pm.

I will be sending out the list of nominations for our awards, remember we will do it on April 26^th between 4’30 and 6;30 pm. Alumni and parents are welcome. I feel we should have a good #s to celebrate our season.

Bonjour à tous,
C’était un excellent samedi, le programme performance s’est terminé par une chaude journée ensoleillée. Nous sommes ouverts le dimanche avec des cours de niveau I et 2 de l’AMSC et un cours de niveau 1 de l’ACMS. Une  journée de pluie memorable.
La station sera fermée lundi, le regel permettant de réparer les pentes. Réouverture mardi matin de 9 h à 16 h.
Pour le retour du manteau, nous pouvons l’accepter,  une fois que vous n’enseignez plus, conservez votre laissez-passer et votre étiquette nominative pour la saison prochaine, en espérant vous voir skier /rider pour le reste de la saison. N’oubliez pas le 26 avril, notre cérémonie de remise des prix entre 430 et 630 samedi, des collations et des boissons gazeuses. Service de bar pour les plus âgés. Les parents et les anciens moniteurs sont les bienvenus.
C’est ainsi que nous clôturons notre saison, en reconnaissant votre travail et en remettant des mugs de prix.
En espérant vous voir en grand #s.
Au cours des deux prochains week-ends, nous avons des cours et des examens de niveau 2 et 3, bonne chance à tous les participants.

Hello all,

Was a great Saturday, as the Performance program ended with a warm sunny day. We are open on Sunday as we have level I and 2 CSIA courses and a level 1 CASI course. One of those, ski in the rain days.

The hill will be closed Monday, with the re-freeze allowing to patch up the slopes. Re-opening Tuesday morning 9 to 4pm.

Coat returns, we can accept your jacket once you are no longer teaching, keep your pass and name tag for next season, hopping to see you out skiing/riding for the rest of the season. Remember April 26, our Awards Social between 430 and 630 Saturday, snacks and soft drinks. Bar service for the older crowd. Parents and alumni are welcome.

This is how we close our season, recognizing your hard work and handing out award mugs.

Hier, c’était notre dernière session du lundi soir, je dois mentionner à quel point je suis impressionné/fier de tous les participants. Il est entendu que pour s’améliorer, nous devons faire du kilométrage et pour apprendre, nous devons être exposés à d’autres opinions. Les sessions sont le moyen d’y parvenir de manière collégiale.
C’est facile de dire que vous le ferez, c’en est une autre de le faire. Chapeau , à tous les participants qui tentent d’améliorer leur niveau de certification.
Aussi, un grand bravo à Thomas Friessnegg, pour avoir terminé son niveau 3.

Nous avons pas mal d’instructeurs qui suivront des cours au cours des prochaines semaines, profitez du processus et bonne chance pour les examens.

Je tiens à remercier Sean Delaney d’avoir coordonné les séances, ainsi qu’à nos animateurs de séance, Erin Hope, Mathieu Patry, Shawn Banfield, Dave Morralee et Alex Rocheleau.

Hi all,

Yesterday was our last Monday evening session, I must mention how impressed/proud I am of all the participants. It’s understood, that in order to improve, we must put in the mileage and in order to learn we must be exposed to other opinions. Sessions are the way to accomplish this in a collegial way.

Its easy to say you’ll do it, its another to do it. Hats off, to all the participants trying to improve their level of certification.

Also, a big congrats to Thomas Friessnegg, for completing his level 3.

We have quite a few instructors taking courses over the next few weeks, enjoy the process and good luck on exams.

 I would like to thank Sean Delaney for coordinating and thank you to our session leaders Erin Hope Mathieu Patry Shawn Banfield Dave Morralee and Alex Rocheleau.

C’était génial d’assister aux sessions du lundi soir et voir vos vidéos. J’ai été impressionné par le taux de participation, la seule façon de s’améliorer est de skier/rider et de se mettre au défi. La vidéo peut montrer la forme de votre virage, votre conduite/ mise à carres et votre équilibre général. Et si nécessaire, pointez du doigt les zones qui nécessitent une attention particulière pour réorganiser vos mouvements par rapport à ce que font les skis sur la neige. Merci à Chris P, pour avoir partagé les liens pour les vidéos de lundi.
Le soleil sera de retour pour vendredi et le week-end sera super. La pluie ne sera plus qu’un lointain souvenir d’ici vendredi.
Dernier week-end pour les programmes 9w, tout tourne autour de la finition, assurons-nous que c’est une journée positive et retournons toutes les cartes de progression non distribuée  à vos superviseurs.
La semaine de relâche de l’Ontario, ceux qui y travaillent, s’il vous plaît, soyez ici à 9 h.
Nous voulons vous encourager à rester actif et à être ici pour skier et peut-être prendre une leçon. Mais utilisez principalement votre forfait et jouez sur les pistes. Kilométrage pour améliorer, c’est le moment

Une fois que vous êtes sûr que vous n’enseignerez pas, votre veste peut être retournée.

Hello all,

It was great to attend the Monday evening sessions and see the video. Was impressed with the turn out, the only way to improve is to ski/ride and challenge yourself. Video can show your turn shape, steering /edging and overall balance. And if needed, point to the areas that need attention in rearranging your movements in relation to what the skis are doing on the snow. Thanks to Chris P, for sharing the links to Monday’s Videos.

The sun will be back out for Friday and the weekend skiing will be great. The rain will be a distant memory by Friday.

Last weekend for the 9w programs, its all about the finish, lets be sure its positive day and return any left-over progress cards to your supervisors.

Ontario Break, those working it please be here at 9 am.

We want to encourage you to stay active and be here to ski and perhaps pick up a lesson. But mainly use your pass and play on the slopes. Mileage to improve, now is the time.

Once you are sure that you will not be teaching, your jacket can be returned.
