Notre première journée faites et on peu dire que la deuxième est bien démarrée.

One day done and Sunday is well underway.

Evening programs and Wednesday breakaway begin this week.

Bit of housekeeping our first Monday evening training starts on the 10th. Session on snow between 7 and 9 pm.  These sessions are open to our instructors and Tas.

From now on you will need a parking pass to enter the lower parking be sure you get one or you will need to walk from upper lot.

The first days of lesson programs can be difficult with varying expectation from the pupils and parents. The key is to communicate with your supervisors and sort out any issues that may have come up.

I would like to thank everyone for being here on time good and early, it makes a world of difference to have time to get organized.

Bonjour a tous,

C’est un depart, it’s a go. Cette fin de semaine les programmes débute, et nous voulons que tous nos moniteurs et aide moniteur soit présent avant 8 h 30 pour être sur neige à 9 heure.

All instructors and Tas should be here before 830 in order to be on snow at 9 am.  Plan for a lunch either in your car or in pro room for those that don’t have a car, that said the pro room is good for changing and bags can be left here, we just have to be conscious of distancing and masking.

Please use the procedural masks that we have for you , do not wear a buff or neck warmer without a good mask and make sure the mask is visible.

 At 9 am all instructors are either standing at a program meeting area or at the privates meeting area.

If you committed to a day, we expect that you are here all day regardless of lesson assignments and we will do our best to give you work.

I am looking forward to a great start to our programs. Be here and be ready.

Bonne Année /Happy New Year

Yesterdays Gov. statement, will not affect the programs . The main lodge will only be open for warming and washrooms, Cafeteria will be open for take out , no eating indoors . Be prepared to either eat in car or in pro room as it is considered a staff lunchroom. A reminder, the pro room is for instructors only.

Remember to maintain masking and distancing indoors. I also want everyone to understand that a procedural mask is a must for instructors and TAs alike . Some have gotten into the habit of wearing a buff over the mask, if this is the case be sure the mask is visible to all or don’t wear the buff. Its important that we are providing a good example. do not be too cool for school :)

In closing I would like to thank everyone working the checkpoints and teaching the Xmas camp and privates. You are all doing a great job and are much appreciated by our customers . I know it can sometimes be negative with certain people but remember the majority are happy.

The big show starts soon and I am confident we will be up to the task.

We have sad news , long time instructor Lloyd Seaman has passed, he had been fighting cancer for a few years . Our thoughts are with Olive and the family . Lead by Lloyd and Olive, the whole family has taught / coached at Camp Fortune over the years.

Salut a tous,

Un Joyeux Noel a tous / A Merry Christmas to all.

We are preparing for Xmas Camp, if you are interested in working the camp 27, 28 29 30 of Dec ? please contact us at 2223 .

Any new level 1s should get paperwork and banking info done before the 27th, we are open the 23 rd. the 24th and the 26th of Dec. closed the 25th. beat the rush and get it done. We always welcome extra help during the holidays, even if you are only here for the day check in for the tracing list and we could have lessons for you to teach.

The pro room is for instructors only , no kids.

Always wear your jackets, and arrive ready to help out.

As an instructor you must wear a procedural mask ( supplied in the pro room), we of course want to minimize time spend in pro room and keep distances .

Be sure you pick up a parking pass, as it will be needed to enter the lower lot . Ask in the pro room.

Even with all the uncertainty I am exited to have our school operating again, lets all be careful on and off the hill, as well as our regular affairs and make sure we stay well.

We and our customers appreciate the privilege of sliding and enjoying the fresh air.

Hello all, salut la gang,

Avec les temps qui passe, je tien a rassurée les moniteurs. Premièrement, on va skier cet hiver, deuxièmement les consignes sanitaires sont très importantes et que nous devons réduire le temp passes à l’intérieurs. Bien sûr le masque est obligatoire pour tous les moniteurs et aide moniteur.

Seulement notre personnel est permis à l’intérieur du local.

To be sure we all know . I would like to reassure everyone that . #1 we will have a ski season. #2 sanitary guidelines are very important and we should reduce our time indoors . Of course masks are mandatory for all instructors and TAs.

The pro room is reserved for instructors and TAs only.

Nous sommes tous vacciner/ We are all vaccinated
