The programs begin this weekend and we of course expect everyone boots on , on snow by 830. plan your arrival accordingly.
Be sure you have your name tag , or make a temp. A reminder to have your poles , I expect all instructors/ TA’s to have poles to use as safety bars on the chairs or to help you pull kids to the lifts as well as teaching aids. I was noticing the odd instructor without poles. Have a pencil in your coat as well as class card or paper to take notes if needed.
We have had training and should be ready for our guests as they arrive, its always a bit of a shock but as long as your paying attention and following the plan all will go well. Your attitude is your most important tool, if you are positive and actively leading the group, the pupils will respond .
On Sunday afternoon, 4;30 the area will hold its annual lift evacuation training, I encourage all to attend , it only lasts approx an hour. Always good to share the info and have some knowledge of the system.
All for now
Lets have a great first weekend.
