Ce fut une fin de semaine achalandée avec la nouvelle neige. Par-contre les programmes se sont bien dérouler alors merci à vous tous.

Busy as last weekend was, you all managed to get the job done, thank you for that.

The coming Saturday we will have our first social of the season, Pizza 2$, Soft Drinks 1$, Adult beverages 6$. Proceeds go to the Norm Grondin Foundation.  So please plan to staying after skiing and having a bit of $ to invest in a snack. May be a good idea to tell your ride to show up a bit later.

We will be needing some extra help on Monday the 23^rd in the AM and Wednesday the 25^th in the afternoon, please and thank you. If you can help please email me .

March break signups will be ready this weekend.

Salut à tous,

 La première fin de semaine ses bien dérouler, par contre il y a toujours place a amélioration.

Our first weekend went well, however there is always room for improvement.

Be here before 830. Be prepared for supervisors needing to balance groups and make transfers.

Take note of week 1 challenges and adjust yourself, teaching is a learning process.

Pour bien enseigner, il faut bien apprendre nos leçons.

If you missed the first week, we look forward to seeing you this week.

We will be putting out the march break signup sheets, Quebec March 6,7, 8 and Ontario March 13,14,15. Plan ahead , we will need help to make it happen.

Monday night training begins Jan 16^th on snow 7 to 8 45 pm.

Un grand merci pour une fin de semaine bien exécuté, c’est toujours un défi de démarrer nos programmes de neuf semaine.

Thank you!  for your efforts in making the start of programs go off well.

On the 29th of Dec. we had a Stranger Danger issue on the Skyline chair, we are hoping it is an over reaction, however its not something we can ignore.

Because of this we will adjust lift protocol. And increase our awareness and group management.

1- students needing help will ride with instructors, TAs, patrol or coaches.

2 – Instructors will ensure that their groups are paired with each other and avoid single General public adding themselves in. Lift attendants are aware.

3- Ski wee should not be an issue since they are by design in smaller groups and supervisors can help coordinate.

4- The youth groups able to ride lifts without assistance will require instructors to be more organized at the lifts to ensure that pupils ride up within the group.

Before getting on a lift with a student/client, inform them of the following:

• How to sit on the chair lift;

• How to lower the bar;

• How to behave on the chair lift;

• How and when to lift the safety bar;

• How to get off the chair lift; and,

• Where to meet the group

We encourage team work with our groups.

Your supervisors can answer any questions you may have.

Nous resterons fermés pour demain 1er janvier. Nous avons eu une quantité importante d’eau, avec plus de pluie attendue.  Les températures ne devraient pas baisser avant demain soir, heure à laquelle nous déplacerons toutes les dameuses et commencerons à réparer pour être ouverts pour le 2 Janvier.

We will remain closed for tomorrow January 1. We had a significant amount of water over the last 24 hours with more on the way and it has created a bit of a mess. Temperatures are not forecasted to drop until tomorrow evening at which time we will move all the groomers out and start patching up to be open for the 2nd of January.

Hope everyone has a happy and safe New Years Eve , look forward to Monday morning and the second winter camp.

Pour débuter, un grand merci à tous ceux qui on peut nous aider avec le camp de Noel. Thanks for the help with the first winter camp. We have another starting Monday the 2nd of jan.

I would like to know who could be available for evening privates. In order to set #s for this , I would like to know the following; Wednesday or Thursday , time available i.e. between 5 and 8 pm . I ask that people wanting to take on the extra earning opportunity to email me ASAP.

Sat the dec 31st , have privates , 9 am, 10;15, 11;30, 1;30 and 2;15. 2 booked privates for each of those starts. Sun jan.1st , have privates , 10;15, 11;30, 1;30 and 2;15. 1 booked private for each of those starts. Who wants them email me now , all ski .

We should also have , walk-ins

If your a rider email me to confirm your here and we will sell you some.

A reminder to all our instructors, always have your coat and be available to teach when your here.
