Salut a tous,

Un petit rappel pour confirmer que, oui l’hiver sera ici bientôt.  So it’s time to plan your winter.

La maison porte ouverte du Camp Fortune est le 3 Nov. de 10hr à 16hr. This is for our skiing public but you are of course invited to drop by and talk skiing/riding as well as connect with supervisors.

The General meeting will be on the 9^th of Nov, at 10 am for Tas and new instructors and at 11,30 for returning instructors wanting to touch base with supervisors and take in the speech from the throne.

To do list;

 All  please be sure you are following the blog and receiving emails.

TA s – Register on the academy web site. Be at the meeting.

New instructors – Be at the meeting.

Certified and returning instructors – Be at the meeting, connect with supervisors. Before coming out to ski/ride be sure you have paid your dues and bring your Instructor registration form.

Hello all,

Le salon de ski et snowboard show d’Ottawa approche le 19 et 20 Oct . We may see you there, and talk snow. Lessons are selling well the hills are being groomed ( brush cutting) new snow making lines and tower guns on Marshall will enhance conditions. Soon enough we will be sliding with the wind in our face.

I am looking forward to the general meeting and having our team back together . The Dec training schedule, returning instructor registration form and the TA online registration are up on our site.

For our cert CSIA members a PDP weekend will be held on the 14th and or 15th of Dec. still tentative. this will be for our people only. Open PDPs will be scheduled over the winter on Monday evenings.

Avec la rentrer d’école on se penche sur la saison hivernal. Soon the training schedule and general meeting info will be available. Should have our site refreshed and up to date by next Tuesday.

Two dates to save for now, Open house the 3rd of Nov and the General info session for instructors and TA’s on the 9th of nov.

Things to do before we get together;

*Decide what day or days you would like to commit to.

*Make sure you are up to date with CSIA, CASI or CSCF. (pay your dues).

*If you have friends interested in teaching pass on my email.

*Be sure your buddies are following the blog.

Hey all, hope summer is going well and those sliding reflexes are regenerating. I am mainly thinking sailing and pool, but i can admit to checking out some skitube from time to time.

People are already registering for the programs and it will get a bit more active as we get into august.

The fall training and selection process we did last season will be repeated, although streamlined to be a bit quicker.

At this time i don’t have much else to say except enjoy the summer and we will connect in the fall.

Hello all,

The season is now officially closed, with the rain expected this weekend we will not reopen the hill. Thank you to ll for you work this season and stay tuned for new about next years campaign.

I am still waiting for some Jackets, and hope people will contact me to make arrangements for their coat’s return.

I am away skiing this long weekend and will not have anyone at the hill to accept coats. i am returning Tuesday the 23rd of April. Hope to have people returning coats as of that date.

Hello all,

The hill will open again at Skyline Thursday , Friday and on the weekend . If there is rain check before coming up. Pro room will be open Thursday , Saturday and Sunday in the mornings only. So if you need to return a coat please do so before noon.
