Hope all are well with you all , I hope to have news about our season coming in august or sept.

 Josh and Katrina have welcomed their son Owen. And all is well. I have a picture but i am not sure Owen wants his bottom on the internet quite yet. so i will wait for the official release from Mom and dad. I did hear a rumor that he will be inst of the year in 2035 , glad to hear Josh is in it for the long haul.

Salut a tous,

Hope everyone is well, a little feel good post from Joe and the gang, on mothers day.

I’d like to thank everyone for contributing to the shower gift for Josh and Katrina.

A special thank you to SJ, for being contact for donations, getting everyone to sign the card and putting together a great gift basket.

I was finally able to drop the gift around yesterday and have a “distancing porch pint” with Josh (surprise, surprise).

We wanted to present the gift to Josh and Katrina at the banquet but unfortunately that was unable to happen.

Hope you are all staying well and we are able to get back to some sort of normal sooner then later.

Hello all,

Hoping all are doing as well as can be expected,

I want to pass on a correction in the following nominations , I had misplaced a couple of nominees.

As for the awards we will have to wait for the fall and celebrate the season then.

Camp Fortune is still shut down , so the idea of gathering the remaining jackets is on hold. I would ask that those that still have a coat please email me the size and coat # use fbernier@campfortune.com I am not at the hill but this will allow me to have a list of our outstanding coats and make it easier once i can get back to hill.

J’espère que tous se porte bien et que les consignes sont suivies, its a community effort to get our lives back to normal, that said , I am hoping you are all well .

Hard to believe its been two weeks, and if all was normal we would still be riding the slopes for another 3 weeks or so. I was on track to win the Goggle Tan award this season ??

Bein c’est ca qui est ca, j’espère que vous vous porter tous bien pendant ces  temps historique.

Jackets, for those that still have them, hang on to it and we will deal with this once this social distancing ends.

The Awards Banquet , is postponed until we can actually get together, maybe in the fall. I have the Nominations and since we have time i will save it a bit longer , giving us something to look forward to. Drammaaaa.

The hill is closed , even for climbing and i am not there so don’t drive up until we are re-opening.

Hello all, Salut la gang ,

Hope everyone is well, I will be in the pro room between 930 and 12 Wednesday, for those who need to pick up stuff, mainly the full timers who have skis and boards stored.

If you want, a jacket can be returned in the morning also, however if not convenient we can deal with this later. Once the virus is more controlled.

Everyone stay well , for the next few weeks everything is on hold .

As of now the Hill will be closed , the Quebec Gov. has mandated this . Those of you that still have jackets to return can do so over the next couple of weeks, stay tuned for a details as to when the pro room will be open for this.

The banquet is also to be re-scheduled, again i will advise as to when and how we will do this.

I want to thank everyone for this great season and say how sorry i am that its ending with a bit of a thump. You were all part of a successful winter.

As the weekend approaches , I wanted to inform everyone as to the situation at the hill.

I have just completed a full wipe down of all tables , counters and common areas that we lay hands on, using a bleach solution as recommended we will repeat as necessary over the weekend. This is a good thing but common sense and hand washing is very important . The risk at a ski area is very low , use common sense and wash hands frequently , the slopes are a good place to be . It would be best to keep gloves on and have helmet and goggles on when teaching and its also recommended to drink lots of water. No hand shakes , like the penguins say “smile and wave “

Goes without saying, but here goes… if you are sick don’t come in.

Here is the information I received from the Ski Association (ASSQ) regarding COVID and the QC gov communication banning public gatherings over 250 earlier today

• In general Quebec is low risk.

• The no gatherings over 250 rule does NOT apply to ski resorts, we can continue with business as usual. We are treated as a shopping mall, with customers coming and going. We do not need to count or limit people in the lodge. The ASSQ will send up proper messaging about this.

• We will be informed immediately  if this changes.

• We can continue to host OUTDOOR events. It is suggested we CANCEL indoor events. We will cancel the après-ski concert portion of the 100 yr celebrations on Saturday. Outdoor activities will go ahead as planned.

• Business as normal for lessons, cafeteria, rentals etc. BUT be smart and practice proper hygiene

• Updates are likely to come.

Thanks to all that were here on the weekend helping with the groups and and privates. this coming weekend will be more of the same help is always needed so when in doubt come up and ski / ride .

Ont break , if your able we can use you , sign up or call the cage xt 2223 or email me to commit for 3 or 4 days. Thank you in advance. we actually need 6 more people commit, more would not hurt.

Kids up Front event on the 28th we will need people to teach 10 to 12, signup at the cage , we had a blast with the kids last season, looking forward to us doing a great job again.

Week 8 for the weekend programs, lets get those progress cards delivered to the parents and you are encouraged to dress up this weekend.

You can register for the Awards banquet this weekend 25$ , register at the cage and be prepared to have a nice time on the 4th of April.

We are still looking for people to work the Ont break so let us know if you can, it will be a good opportunity to work on the Goggle Tan . This year for the Goggle tan Award, we will do a photo of all candidates on the 22nd of March at 3 pm, then the pictures will be voted on at the banquet.
