Hey all ,
We have the kids up front event tomorrow morning, and of course we will be doing privates all weekend, looking forward to seeing people out to ski / ride and get their tickets for the banquet. As well as help out with a few lessons.
Sunday morning, we have the info clinic for the school and in the afternoon we have the Cardboard sled race. I will be looking for a few people to help with that event.

Hi All,
This Saturday we are hosting ‘Kids upfront’ for a learn-to-ski day, we will need 15 instructors to work for a couple of hours in the morning. If you’re able, please let me know by email ( even if you have not already done so).
Cheques and Jacket return can be done as of this weekend, if you plan on being around to teach some more, then bring the coat back later . Last weekend to return coats is the 7th & 8th of April.
Next Wednesday we have a school in at 9:30, we will need some help teaching. If you plan on being at the hill for that lovely spring day, we would love to have your help. Please let me know via email.
On Thursday we have a school at lunch time, again if you’re around, please let us know. Thanks in advance.
Banquet tickets are on sale in the pro room.
This weekend and the Easter weekend we can count on having privates to teach. The snow is great and the season is far from over.

Thank you to everyone involved in the manual evacuation for their cooperation, patience and good spirits. It was quite the experience and although we train for it, it is something we hope never actually happens.
Thank you to the members of the Canadian Ski Patrol, Camp Fortune Academy and the Mountain Operations Team. Your teamwork and professionalism was incredible.

This past week went well lots of new snow and a good job done by all that were part of our march break team, Thank you !!
The weather is turning to sunshine, so I expect a strong weekend for privates, please remember to report to the bell , SJ will be coordinating.
I will be needing people to work the Kids Up Front event on the 24th of March. Let me know if you’re able to work the 2 hr session in the morning. We will be running a station system and getting 100 kids up the lift in two hours. Looking for 15 instructors.
Tickets for the Banquet available in the pro room, Banquet is April 6th and as always I hope to see as many people as possible attending, to finish the season off and applaud our winners for the various awards. I will be posting a list of the nominees soon.
We will be accepting instructor jacket returns as of the 23, 24 and 25th of March , clean and on a hanger. Or any weekend until the 7th of April.

Hi All:
March break reminder: Meeting at 9 am Monday. For those working please be on time – the pro room will be open as of 8:15 AM. Thank you in advance to all who signed up to work.
Lift Evac feedback: Saturday’s events were something the area plans for, but hopes to never have to do. I want to say that all went well, our planning and the execution of the plan went as well as can be expected. Thank you to all the people that found themselves on evac crews, and also those that made sure the rest of the school kept functioning throughout the process.
I was very impressed with the team work. A special mention for Maxime Cordier, he kept his student warm by removing his jacket to cover him, great job – if you have to miss school due to catching a cold, we can give you a note.
Remember that the season keeps on ticking;

Hey all,
The last week of programs is here, but we are not finished our season yet , this week was the Quebec break and next week is the Ont. Break. Thanks to those that have committed to work those weeks, we could use a few more for the Ontario week. So don’t be shy let us know we can count on you. On weekends we are still providing privates and beginner specials.
If you’re working Ont. break, please be here for the 9am meeting.
As well we will have special events going that may require help.
A few dates to remember;
March 24th we are host a ‘Kids up Front “ ski day”, we will need instructors to teach 100 kids how to ski. It will be a fun day helping some young people get their first experience on snow.
March 25th Card board sled race, we have 60 entries and will need to put together an event crew to handle things.
Easter egg hunt will also require a few bodies, more details to follow.
Date Change:
Due to scheduling problems, the Academy Banquet has been moved to April 6, 2018. Tickets are $25 per person and pre-paid reservations can be made at the Cage (debit or credit only please).
Pro race on the Sunday the 8th of April.
