Another interesting find…

And you think you’ve heard it all…

The Cage has in its’ possession as set of keys (with 2 sets of car keys and a home key on it) that was handed in by a TA who was trying on their ‘new’ yellow coat. The keys were found in the pocket. Anyone missing a set of keys can claim them from the cage in exchange for the usual storage and retrieval fee (a large box of Timbits)…

Hello all,

For starters I will give you a trails report, Slalom will be open for the weekend as well as Allen’s Alley and both carpets will be in operation. So as far as our snow school operation we are good to go.
I would like to remind all to be at the pro room by 8 am on Saturday and or Sunday , in order to allow program supervisors to get the groups organized. There will be a general meeting at 8:30 in the pro room.

Some of you may be aware of your assignment just be here and you will be told where to go ;-)

All for now,

ENGLISH

Important notice to our customers:

Please note the speed limit through much of Chelsea is 50 km per hour and frequently monitored. Although we know you want to get skiing quickly we advise you to adhere to the 50km speed limit….it only adds up to an extra minute or two of driving time. Safety first please!

We have some other tips to share:
Please make sure your registration is up to date. Local police visit parking lots of many Chelsea and Wakefield businesses to check plates (Ontario and Québec)
If you have Québec plates make sure you have your snow tires on!
Lock your doors and please do not leave valuables in your car. Police have been checking for unlocked vehicles and ticketing.
Always lock your skis and snowboards. The best way is to buy a ski key from Customer Service.
We do appreciate the local law enforcement and we do urge our customers to be aware and be safe. You don’t want to have an expensive ski day.

FOUND SKIS

To the instructor/TA who left his skis in the parking lot by the Pro Room:

The skis have been returned to the Pro Room and you can retrieve them from the cage by providing a full description and a large box of Timbits for the cage (storage and retrieval fee). You should also apologize profusely to your father for making him worry…

Hello all,

I would like to remind all that we are operating and teaching many privates these days, we are unfortunately turning away snowboard privates because of a lack of instructors to teach them.
I want to remind everyone that if you’re here we expect you to be available to teach. This means be at the bottom of Pineault lift every hour on the half. Be in uniform.
It is also expected that you be here for the day. This coming weekend is the last prior to the programs beginning and I know we will be busy with privates and beginner specials.
Supervisors will be drafting their crews over the weekend.

This is mainly meant as a “ hey winter is here, so I expect to see you here also”
